Booth — Personal Audio Studio · Last updated: June 19, 2026
Booth is a Chrome extension that provides audio processing tools directly in your browser. We collect only what is strictly necessary to operate the service.
Account data
When you sign in — via Google OAuth or magic link — we receive your email address. This is stored in our database solely to identify your account and manage your subscription.
Subscription data
Your subscription status is managed through Paddle, our payment processor and Merchant of Record. Paddle collects and stores payment information under their own privacy policy. We only receive and store whether your subscription is active.
Local data
The following is stored locally on your device using chrome.storage and never transmitted to our servers:
All audio processing — equalization, compression, and AI-powered track separation — happens entirely on your device. Audio data is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted to Booth servers. The AI model (Open-Unmix) runs locally in your browser.
Booth does not use analytics, advertising trackers, or behavioral profiling tools.
Each service operates under its own privacy policy.
Your account data is retained as long as your account exists. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us, after which your email and subscription record will be permanently removed.
Booth is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
If we materially change this policy, we will update the date above. Continued use of Booth after changes constitutes acceptance.
